Waiuku Theatre is thrilled to present its 2026 pantomime Twisted Tales!
Written and directed by Amber Turner, and bursting with incredible local talent, Twisted Tales is a bold, hilarious reimagining of the fairytales we all grew up with… only this time, the princesses are taking control.
When Prince Charamalot forgets his big moment and a plan to ruin every happy ending is discovered, the Princesses from The Realm of Ever After decide it’s their turn to be the heroes! With a magic slipper, clever ideas, and no time for old-fashioned rules, they set off to save their stories before everything ends for good. Along the way, they’ll dodge meddling narrators, outsmart crazy fairy godmothers, and team up with a bunch of silly dwarves who love drama more than digging. But as their adventure unfolds, the residents in the Realm of Ever After learn that “happily ever after” isn’t something you wait for, it’s something you make yourself!
