WELCOME TO THE BACKSTAGE THEATRE
The Backstage Theatre is home to the Waiuku Theatre Group Incorporated (a registered charity). Waiuku Theatre endeavours to have at least three productions a year – two plays and a pantomime for children. The group has been running since 1972, officially incorporated in 1976 and has been at Backstage since 1991. The theatre is attached to the rear of the Waiuku War Memorial Hall where the performance of our pantomimes takes place. The Backstage theatre has raked seating for 60 and is air-conditioned for patrons comfort.
The group is run by an executive committee, which is elected annually.
