Waiuku Theatre Group is proud to announce upcoming auditions for our end-of-year play, the premiere show run of ‘The Way We Remember’ by Melissa Charbonneau.
‘The Way We Remember’ is the story of a married couple who lose a child midway through pregnancy. The grieving process that occurs in the months following puts an intense strain on their marriage, resulting in a separation. As they both experience rock bottom moments, they also discover that they have gained healing abilities through touch. We watch as they individually navigate this new gift as well as come to terms with this gift not having been there when they feel they needed it most. Will it bring them together or drive them further apart from each other?
Rehearsals will be held likely on a Monday and Thursday night, starting 7th August 2023. Working bees to prep the set and theatre will be held on Sundays. The show will run from Friday 13th October – Saturday 28th October 2023. All rehearsals and performances will be held at the Backstage Theatre in Waiuku.
